Cutters
Stationery cutters: professionals in their field
The Axent utility cutter has gained popularity among customers thanks to a combination of quality, material and thoughtfulness of details. This tool is suitable for active use in the office, warehouse, production, household or decorating. It is primarily used for cutting paper, cardboard, film, and for unpacking envelopes and packages.
Stationery cutter blades: features and tips for use
The peculiarity of this type of cutter is the sectional blade, which is fixed in the extended state and then hides inside the knife handle. Such models are extremely convenient and safe to use.
There is no need to sharpen the blade. When its tip becomes dull, it is enough to renew the cutting edge. How to break off the blade: there is a special groove on the knife handle cap - you need to remove the cap, slightly push the blade out, insert it into the groove and carefully break off the blunt part along the notch line. The cutter is now sharp again and ready for use!
The blade is replaced as follows: completely remove the cap from the handle, pull out the blade with the lock, remove the old blade and "put" the new one on the lock using the round hole in the lock, and reinsert the blade with the lock.
For the most intensive use, a metal stationery cutter is suitable. Its body can be made of lightweight and reliable materials such as aluminium or zinc. The Axent range also includes 18 mm and 9 mm stationery cutters made of durable plastic in classic and bright colours. You can also find economy models in the Delta series on the website.
