Note paper, page markers
What could be more convenient and affordable for quick, temporary notes than sticky note paper. It is used by business people, schoolchildren, students, busy mothers and creative people alike. When you have a supply of these compact sheets at hand, you can be sure that no important information will be lost. Unlike a notebook, they are not a waste - when the information is no longer relevant, it is easy to throw away the post-it note and move on to new tasks.
Sticky note paper in its modern form first appeared on the market in the 80s of the last century. Since then, many people all over the world have started using this invention in the office, at school and in everyday life. In 1999, these small pieces of paper that we stick to our monitors, books, folders, magnetic boards, refrigerators, etc., were even included in Fortune magazine's list of the most important inventions of the 20th century. Of course, the key issue was to develop an adhesive that would leave no traces on the surface and still allow the post-it note to stick well.
Reminding yourself of a task for the day, writing something down during a phone conversation, leaving a note to colleagues or loved ones, marking an important point in a document with a comment - this is not a complete list of what paper sticky notes can be used for. They have even inspired some people to create works of art - collages and paintings consisting entirely of multi-coloured sticky notes.
Types of note paper
Modern stationery brands offer a wide variety of paper blocks - in terms of size, colour, number of sheets, density, shape and even ruling. Based on the presence of an adhesive layer and, accordingly, functionality, they can be divided into 2 main types:
1. Stationery stickers
Sheets of paper with an adhesive strip are called sticky notes. Their main feature is the ability to stick to various surfaces and keep important notes in front of your eyes. Paper sticky notes are also useful when working with documents to mark individual pages without leaving marks on the paper.
On the Axent website, you will find blocks of paper with an adhesive layer in pastel and catchy neon colours. The shaped versions in the shape of an apple or a flower will appeal to fans of original stationery.
2. Paper without an adhesive layer
An even more affordable and simple option for quick notes. Such blocks can be glued, so you can tear off the sheets as needed, or unglued, in which case it is convenient to use a tabletop stand for paper blocks. They come in white, coloured or a mix. Different colours can be used to organise your notes by importance or content.
Post-it notes
Post-it notes have the same adhesive layer as sticky notes. They can also be used to mark things, but they are usually small and are used when you need to mark pages of documents, books, and catalogues. Bookmarks can be easily removed without leaving any marks, which is very convenient when it is important not to spoil the pages. They can even be used repeatedly. Choose the shape at your discretion - rectangles or arrows. The Axent range includes bookmarks in both neon and pastel colours.
